Middle Python Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the backend services powering our AI-driven mobile applications.
You will ensure reliability, scalability, and security across our systems while working closely
with frontend and product teams.

What You’ll Do
● Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
● Design and implement RESTful APIs to support mobile applications.
● Build scalable systems deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
● Manage infrastructure components such as Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, etc.
● Optimize performance, latency, and system reliability.
● Implement authentication, authorization, and API security best practices.
● Monitor logs, metrics, and system health to ensure stability.
● Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to define API contracts.
● Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.

● Contribute to continuous improvement of backend architecture and DevOps
processes.


Requirements
● 3+ years of backend development experience (Python).
● Experience building APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
● Strong understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
● Experience deploying and managing services on GCP.
● Experience working with microservices architectures.
● Knowledge of API security and cloud best practices.
● Experience with logging, monitoring, and debugging production systems.
● Clean code mindset and strong ownership mentality.
● Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
● Ability to work independently and deliver scalable solutions.


Desirable Experience
● Experience integrating AI/LLM services (OpenAI or similar).
● Experience with streaming responses and cost optimization strategies.
● Experience with Kubernetes or containerized deployments.
● Knowledge of event-driven systems and asynchronous processing.
● Experience working in subscription-based mobile app environments
